Clinical Partnership

Clinical Consultation

My consultation services are designed for deep-dives into specific clinical intersections, systemic barriers, and the nuances of complex care. I provide a secondary, specialized lens for therapists and small groups navigating the often-underserved areas of chronic pain, substance use, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and the "Medical Model" of disability.

When a client describes "spoon theory," medical gaslighting, or the exhaustion of navigating a world not built for them, I help you move toward a practice of epistemic justice and reparation. We will work together to dismantle internalized biases and build a clinical space that honors the body’s wisdom and the client’s autonomy.

I help you to move beyond "cultural competency" toward true advocacy for your clients navigating complex medical systems. I offer consultation for clinicians who find themselves at the edges of their training, particularly when:

  • Clinical Narratives & Disability: You are looking to support clients with hEDS, POTS, MCAS, Mold, hormone dysregulation or other medically complex presentations and want to move beyond adopting the standard medical scripts or pathologizing lived experiences.

  • The Language of Neurodivergence: You are working with AuDHD or neurodivergent clients and want to integrate affirming, sensory-aware, and executive-functioning-informed frameworks into your ACT or somatic work.

  • Systems Advocacy: You are reworking or creating new policy and practice guidelines for sensitive systems and bodies.

  • Co-Occurring Complexity: You are working at the intersection of substance use, chronic pain and trauma and need a pragmatic, recovery-affirming strategy that respects the client’s physical reality.

My consultation work is informed by a decade of clinical leadership in co-occurring programming and my current doctoral research into the lived experiences of disability within the counseling field. I am passionate about helping therapists identify how ableism, body stigma, medical trauma, and systemic oppression are mirrored in the therapeutic relationship.

Consultations are available for individual therapists or small clinical teams. These sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant virtual platform and are focused on professional consultation rather than a supervisory relationship.

Clinical Supervision

I provide clinical supervision in Oregon and Washington for mental health counselors seeking the LPC and LMHC licenses and for licensed counselors wanting a second mind for their practice. As a supervisor I will bring aspects of existentialism, critical theory, and anti-oppressive practice that is adaptive to your clinical needs. I take an ecological perspective looking at the layers of your interpersonal and intrapersonal experiences in the context of your larger system of practice, community, and the society we live in.

With nearly 10 years in the nonprofit world as a clinician, clinical supervisor, program developer, and leader I am well prepared to talk about both the joys and challenges of this work and to support you in your goals whether they are to be in community mental health or private practice post licensure. I will encourage you to reflect often on why you are doing this work at this time, holding space for the values and social justice principles that underly your practice while anchoring around development, wellness (with a heavy dose of critical understanding of the medical model of wellness) and advocacy that are pillars of the counseling field. As your supervisor I inherently hold power in our relationship, I see this as an opportunity for us to explore power within our relationship and the field as a whole, to investigate and at times interrogate, other times to find appreciations and systemic opportunities. Expect broaching, warm direction, and a practicality for sustaining your work.

Multi-state licensure - supervision may go towards both LPC/LMHC and CADC/SUDP hours depending on the work you're doing and your goals.
